Shane Stanford Signs with Zondervan

Author Shane Stanford recently signed a contract to write his next book, A Positive Life, for publishing giant Zondervan.  The book will be the life story of Stanford's journey with being an HIV-positive person with a positive attitude.  Zondervan is an imprint of Harper Collins.  More about this huge news will be posted shortly.

Bo Parker joins The Table

July 1st, worship leader Bo Parker (formerly of the group, TRUTH) joined the United Methodist Hour's worship endeavor, The Table.  Bo has worked as consultant with the television program for the past year and is now excited to join with Shane and Anthony in an official capacity.  "Bo is the most talented singer and worship leader we know,"  says Thaxton.  "We are unbelievably excited about working with someone of his talent and work ethic.  We love Bo."  Stay tuned to thetablelife.org and this site to find out more.

It is a celebration of heritage and home, of faith in roots and roots in faith.  Deep South Soul is southern art and writing.  It is all of the good things about our culture.
